Get ready for two unforgettable nights under the stars—The Westhampton Beach Project returns to the Great Lawn on Main Street for a high-energy weekend of live music, modern dance, and community celebration. Taking place Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 at 6 p.m., this annual event is free and open to the public, offering a rare opportunity to experience world-class performances right in the heart of Westhampton Beach.
This year’s lineup is nothing short of electric.
On Friday, July 25, the evening kicks off with The Colucci Orchestra, led by musical director Pisani and featuring the powerhouse vocals of Rhonda Denet, known for her rich, soulful interpretations of jazz and R&B classics. Contemporary dance company Gallim Dance takes the stage next, recognized for its fearless physicality and raw emotion. The night closes with a showstopping performance by Michael Jackson, Jr.—a celebrated member of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater—performing the sensual and powerful ValeTango.
On Saturday, July 26, Parsons Dance takes the spotlight. Known for its athleticism, precision, and joy, this acclaimed company brings its signature mix of modern dance and feel-good rhythm that will have the crowd cheering from their beach chairs.
To support the cause or reserve VIP tickets, donations can be made to The Musical Mime Company, Inc., a registered nonprofit dedicated to arts access and education.
A Community Passion Project
The Westhampton Beach Project is the vision of Steven Colucci, a local artist and President of the Musical Mime Theatre. With decades spent studying and supporting the performing arts, Colucci created this event with a single mission: to introduce the next generation to the transformative power of opera, dance, and live performance. His efforts, in partnership with the Town of Westhampton Beach and generous sponsors, have made this event a staple of the East End’s cultural calendar.
Laura Dalessandro, associate real estate broker at Saunders & Associates and proud sponsor of the event, puts it simply:
“I’m proud to be a part of bringing this experience to Westhampton Beach. There’s such a vibrant cultural scene here, and it grows more each summer. This event brings it all together—art, community, and access. I love that it’s free to the public and introduces younger audiences to the kind of world-class performing arts they might not otherwise experience. It’s joyful, inspiring, and for everyone.”
