Vadis Turner debuts Venus Rising at LongHouse, a series of bold abstract outdoor sculptures that reimagine the Roman goddess Venus not as a reclining nude but as an upright, energized figure composed of cast aluminum bedsheets and dining plates. The exhibition is accompanied by a free Artist Walk & Talk with Turner and curator Kyle DeWoody, whose curatorial work often bridges art with social and environmental issues.
