Ambassadors from over fifteen countries as well as other influential women attended the UN Women for Peace’s Awards Luncheon on International Women’s Day. Actress and producer Trudie Styler was honored with the first annual Humanitarian Award while Dina Habib Powell, President of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, accepted the UN Women for Peace Achievement which was awarded to 10,000 Women. Following the ceremony, the group joined hundreds more for the ‘March in March’ to Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, where a rally was held to speak out on violence against women.
