The Westhampton Rotary Club is “all shook up” to start ‘spreading the news” about its upcoming fundraiser concert, “Elvis Meets Sinatra,” on Saturday, May 3, at 8 p.m. at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center.
This high-energy show stars Lamar Peters, who is considered one of New York’s top Elvis impersonators, and Jesse Posa, a leading Frank Sinatra impersonator, performing along with their three-piece band.
Lamar Peters was the first Elvis tribute artist to perform at B.B. King Blues Club in Times Square and holds the title (4 years in row) for the best Celebrity Impersonator in the annual ‘Best of The Boro Contest” (Queens, Long Island, and Brooklyn). He also placed in the Top 3 in the Ultimate Elvis Presley tribute contest sponsored by Elvis Presley Enterprises. As a sought-after performer, his tribute to the King showcases the best songs of Elvis’ career.
Jesse Posa has performed as Frank Sinatra at Radio City Music Hall and B.B. Kings Blues Club in New York, in an Off-Broadway production of “Sinatra and Friends,” and is in demand at private and corporate events as far away as Dubai.
“We’re delighted that Lamar Peters and Jesse Posa are bringing this incredible tribute show to the beautiful setting of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center to help our Club raise funds so we can continue our good work in the community,” said Bill Dalton, president of the Westhampton Rotary Club. “It promises to be a fun night and we’re hoping for a great turnout.”
General admission tickets are $59 (including fees) or $52 (pay cash at the box office and save fees). VIP tickets, which include preferred seating and admission to a post-show reception and meet-and-greet with the performers, are $92 (including fees) or $81 (pay with cash and save fees).
