The East Hampton Historical Society asked everyone to join them on Saturday in celebrating the third annual “Amagansett Maritime Heritage Day”. Besides free admission to the EHHS’s East Hampton Marine Museum, visitors enjoyed three floors of fun, including crafts for children, the Museum’s exhibits, Plein Air Painters and pirate-themed selfies. Barbara Borsack read from her children’s book “Keeping the Montauk Light”. Other related events included Open House at the East End Classic Boat Society, a scavenger hunt at Amagansett Free Library, organized by Jackie Marks and Evan Harris, and marine art and history at Amagansett U.S. Lifesaving & Coast Guard Station.
