The Springs Community Presbyterian Church parking lot was full and the cars were lined up as far as you could see on Old Stone Highway on Saturday, as Springs Food Pantry held its annual “Chowdah Chowdown”. A $40 donation entitled guests to their choice of two 16 ounce portions from 21 chowders made by top local chefs, a 16 ounce beer from Springs Brewery and crackers. Once again this year, volunteer runners brought orders to the cars for grab ‘n go. www.SpringsFoodPantry.com
