The 28th Annual Guild Hall Academy of the Arts Lifetime Achievement Awards took place at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. It was a star studded event with Dan Aykroyd, Matthew Broderick, Chuck Close, Blythe Danner, Fern Mallis and Sarah Jessica Parker attending the ceremony which honored John Alexander for Visual Arts, Walter Isaacson for Literary Arts, Nathan Lane for Performing Arts and Guild Hall chair Mickey Straus received the Special Award for Leadership and Philanthropy.
