The 31st Hamptons International Film Festival kicked off on Thursday, October 5th, with “Nyad” as the Opening Night film. On Friday, the world premiere screening of “Avenue of the Giants,” and on Saturday, numerous world premieres such as “Storys & Pictures By,” “I’ll Be Right There,” and “Tell Them You Love Me.”

“This year’s Signature programming and Spotlight films include a diverse array of powerful and thought-provoking titles,” said HamptonsFilm Artistic Director David Nugent. “We feel it is important to feature projects that are not only compelling but also socially impactful and capable of sparking a dialogue among our audiences.”

This show will bring Hollywood legend James Cagney to Sag Harbor on the Bay Street Theater stage from June 30 through July 26. Cagney The Musical is produced in association with Riki Kane Larimer. This dynamic musical will be a wonderful complement to our country’s 250th birthday celebrations with its rhythm, song, and movements.
