2019 Hamptons Independence Day Fireworks And Festivities

There’s no shortage of festive red, white, and blue filled 4th of July happenings on the East End.

1. The North Sea Fire Department Carnival and Fireworks will take place Tuesday, July 2 through Saturday, July 6 at the North Sea Fireman’s Field (149 Noyac Road, Southampton), with fireworks displays on Wednesday, July 3 and Friday, July 5 at 10 p.m. The carnival is open from 7 to 11 p.m.

2. The Southampton Village 4th of July Parade, the largest 4th of July parade on Long Island, will take place on Thursday, July 4 at 10 a.m. The parade steps off from Railroad Plaza, and marches down North Main Street, Main Street, Jobs Lane, ending at Monument Square at Agawam Park. 3. The Montauk Chamber’s “Stars over Montauk” 4th of July Grucci Fireworks will take place on Thursday, July 4 at 9 p.m. (rain date: Friday, July 5, 9 p.m.). Fireworks are launched from Umbrella Beach, but the views are incredible anywhere close. Once again 104.7 WELJ FM will present a coordinated patriotic musical experience to celebrate the beautiful display. There will also be the option to partake in the spectacular aboard the Viking Starship during a special Fireworks Cruise that departs at 7:30 p.m., with boarding at 7 p.m. A pre-boarding cocktail hour will be held at Sammy’s Restaurant at 6 p.m. The scenic cruise will include an all-American buffet picnic dinner with beer, wine and soda, live music from the Dog Watchers, and a 50/50 raffle. 4. Westhampton Country Club (35 Potunk Lane, Westhampton Beach) will host their annual fireworks display on July 4th. There’s no set time for blast off – just when it gets dark enough to see. If you’re not a member of the Club, you can catch the show on Village’s Great Lawn. The rain date will be July 5th. For more information, visit www.westhamptoncc.org.

5. Southampton Fresh Air Home will host its annual American Picnic Benefit with Fireworks from Grucci on Friday, July 5 at 1030 Meadow Lane in Southampton. The event will start at 7 p.m., and feature carnival with games, stilt walkers and magicians, tasty American picnic fare, music, dancing and a spectacular fireworks display over Shinnecock Bay. Proceeds from the event raises over 40 percent of the funds needed to support the Southampton Fresh Air Home, a summer camp for physically challenged children. 6. The Devon Yacht Club (300 Abrahams Landing Road, Amagansett) will present its annual fireworks display on Saturday, July 6 at 9:15 p.m. For more information, visit www.devonyc.com.

7. Sag Harbor Yacht Club’s (SHYC) “John A. Ward Independence Day Fireworks,” presented in honor of the beloved club member, will take place on Saturday, July 6 at 9:30 p.m. Recommended spots to view the show include Marine Park, Haven’s Beach, and Sag Harbor’s Long Wharf, or on a boat, if you happen to have access to one. 8. Fit in a run for a good cause during the Southampton Rotary Club Annual Firecracker 8K Run and 3 mile Walk, benefiting the Southampton Rotary Scholarship Fund, which will be held on Sunday, July 7 at 8 a.m. The race begins at Agawam Park (25 Pond Lane, Southampton). 9. The 60th Annual Shelter Island Fireworks at Crescent Beach will be held on Saturday, July 13 from

10. The Great Bonac Fireworks Show, a three-decade long tradition staged over Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton, will be held on Saturday, July 13 at 9 p.m. Attendees will find the best views at Maidstone Park and Sammy’s Beach, Gann Road, or any of the beaches off of Hands Creek Road Springy Banks Road and the head of 3 Mile Harbor.
