Back by popular demand, the third annual Hamptons Fine Art Fair expands dramatically from Southampton Arts Center to the bucolic and easily accessible 17-acre Southampton Fairgrounds, near the legendary Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, July 14-17, 2022. Located on the main thoroughfare that connects the tony Hamptons villages, the expansive locations offers easy and convenient 450 attendee parking within steps of the entrance.
The four-day event is strategically scheduled during the height of the popular summer season, July 14-17, 2022 to accommodate local art enthusiasts, collectors and summer visitors.
Says longtime show producer Rick Friedman and Southampton resident, “Our goal is to provide our fellow art-enthusiastic Hamptonites a curated, high-caliber selection of important 20th and 21st century art- ranging from compelling emerging artists to the blue-chip masters. With the fear of Covid vanishing in the Hamptons, we expect over 7,000 local residents to enthusiastically explore the exhibits with more vim and vigor than ever. This is perhaps the deepest and widest selection of significant art ever offered in the Hamptons. “
The fair also offers hundreds of new Hamptons homeowners who relocated to the East End in the last 2 years, a convenient and dynamic marketplace to find a wide selection of art pieces for the decor of their homes.
Now staged in one spectacular 40,000 square feet majestic Pollock and VIP Pavilion, the fair will present 100 select galleries from 43 cities and 7 countries. Upscale, luxurious, and elite, the fair’s artwork prices start at $10,000 and run into the 7 figures. Over $100 million in important post-war and Contemporary art is available for immediate acquisition.
In keeping with tradition, HFAF 2022 will recognize specific artists for their accomplishments at the 2022 Lifetime Achievement in Painting will be presented to Ronnie Landfield (Findlay Galleries) who, at age 75, will be saluted for his remarkable sixth decade of artistic accomplishments. The prolific and ever popular Hunt Slonem (New River Fine Art) joins the fair as the esteemed Spotlight Artist honoree. Other distinguished awardees in the category of Featured Artist of the fair include Elise Ansel (Carole Corey Gallery), Jennifer JL Jones, (New River Fine Art), local Hamptons artist Chris Kelly (Colm Rowan Fine Art), and sculptor Gilberto Romero, (Winterrowd Fine Art).

The coveted and glamorous Opening Night features a French theme this summer. The July 14 Bastille Day Vernissage will benefit Guild Hall, with lead media partner luxe- Interiors and design magazine. With cultural partner, The French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) the evening will offer VIP guests, a taste of France, with fine French wines tastings, and Pommery champagne, and tasty French hors d’ouerves and other surprises.
