Animal Rescue Fund Of The Hamptons Launches 2018 LemonARF Campaign

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons’ (ARF) “Lemonarf, A Club for Kids,” has returned. The official club encourages kids to get involved in raising funds and awareness for the animals at the ARF Adoption Center.

“Now that school is out, LemonARF is a great way to get children involve in giving back to their community and helping the homeless animals at the ARF Adoption Center. Whether they raise $30 or $300, each child is recognized for their hard work and compassion, as an important part of the ARF team,” said Jamie Berger, Director of Marketing and Communications, ARF.

Just like a classic lemonade stand, the free official Lemonarf starter kit includes: a homemade lemonade recipe, the official Lemonarf barking good cookie recipe, the official Lemonarf minibank to hold all the donations and keep them safe, official Lemonarf cups, buttons and tattoos, and a Lemonarf poster explaining that the stand raises money for ARF, but lets kids fill in what they are offering for sale and the prices as well as room for personalized decorations.

Kids are also encouraged to make and sell their own treats, beverages, crafts, jewelry and art.

Participants can let ARF know when and where they are holding their lemonade stand and the event will be added to the official events calendar on the ARF Facebook page.

Everyone that runs a stand will have their picture taken when they bring in a donation to ARF and it will be featured on ARF’s social media pages.

All money raised will go directly to the care of the animals at ARF. Last summer, Lemonarf raised more than $4,000.

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons has been rescuing cats and dogs, as well as providing quality care and a sanctuary for animals, since 1974.
