Sylvester Manor Educational Farm will host its seventh annual Farm to Table Dinner on Saturday, June 23.
“Farm to Table is our annual gala dinner that is a ‘must attend’ event for people that love locally sourced food and want a phenomenal culinary experience,” shared Stephen Searl, Sylvester Manor Executive Director.
The gala is held on the historic grounds of the Manor, with the proceeds directly supporting the mission to preserve, cultivate, and share the history of Sylvester Manor to ensure that food and art remain connected to the community and the land.
“Contributions from the dinner help support the educational programming, preservation, farm operations and cultural events at Sylvester Manor Educational Farm,” added Searl.
The soiree will commence with cocktails served on the lawn at 6:30 p.m. Guests will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres and grazing stations, showcasing freshly harvested Sylvester Manor produce and Acabonac Farms grass-fed beef pasture-finished at Sylvester Manor. Wines will be selected by Corkbuzz and artisanal cocktails will be provided by Grace & Grit.

A seated dinner will follow. Once again, The Swell Party (formerly Fire Roasted Caterers), who showcase the unique style of cooking everything over Sylvester Manor culled hardwood flames using custom built equipment inspired by traditional Argentinian grilling and colonial fireplace cookery, will be featured. The evening will also include fine wines provided by Wolffer Estate Vineyards.
The evening will continue with dancing under the stars to the Silver Arrow Band.
New this year, on Friday, June 22 from 5 to 7 p.m., all ticket buyers are invited to join The Swell Party in the field kitchen for a Chefs’ Welcome and Tour of a true field kitchen which includes medieval-styled poultry spinners, people-powered rotisserie spits, infiernillos - open ovens inspired by gauchos - and cauldrons. Partygoers can chat about techniques and recipes with the chefs and also meet Sylvester Manor farmers and Acabonac Farms ranchers.
Admission starts at $750.
