Love The Island, a curated selection of clothing and accessories that pay homage to Long Island, is showing its love for Hauppauge-based Long Island Cares by offering Love the Island car magnets with purchases over a certain price point.
“Consumers get a FREE Love The Island Car Magnet for every $25 worth of orders and a $2.50 donation will be made to Long Island Cares with every FREE car magnet earned,” said Jim Rowe Chief Brand Officer.
The charity was founded by late musician and singer/songwriter Harry Chapin to aid the hungry and food insecure on Long Island. As the holidays approach, Love the Island is a great place to get loved ones gifts that support the Island and a well worth charity organization.
“The start of the holidays is always a particularly difficult time for the food insecure so we welcome the continued support of brands like Love The Island willing to help us meet this ongoing challenge,” said Robin Amato, Chief Development Officer & Communications Director for LI Cares.
Love the Island has committed to pledging a minimum of $1,000 to Long Island Cares. The fundraising campaign will wrap up on Sunday, December 31.
