Lisa Sicurelli, President and CEO of Ambassador Abstract, LLC in Roslyn, was recently inducted into the Top 50 Women in Business Hall of Fame by Long Island Business News. The honor is reserved for a select group of women who have received three Top 50 in Business awards over the course of their careers.
Ambassador Abstract, co-founded by Sicurelli in 2005, provides title insurance to both residential and commercial properties. She oversees all aspects of the company’s business as President and CEO. Ambassador Abstract has exhibited immense growth over the course of the businesses’ lifetime, despite the challenges that the real estate industry encountered over the last decade. In 2013, Ambassador Abstract received the prestigious Finest Agent Award by Underwriter, Fidelity National Title Group. It has also received numerous Best Agent Awards from Westcor Land Title Insurance Company.
“I am proud to have been named, for the third consecutive year, as one of LIBN’s Top 50 Women in Business and a 2017 Hall of Fame Honoree,” stated Sicurelli. “It was wonderful to be in the company of such a dynamic and influential group, as well as with my family, friends and colleagues who came to celebrate with me.”
Sicurelli launched her real estate and title insurance career in 1994 as a licensed salesperson with Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. She was a top producer immediately, earning the Rookie of the Year award. Her rapid success early on in her career earned her entry into Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty’s prestigious Gold Circle of Excellence for its top agents. In 2011, Sicurelli secured the highest residential sale in Suffolk County west of the Hamptons: a waterfront property that sold for $12.3 million.
Sicurelli is committed to her industry and community as she provides ongoing training and mentoring on title insurance for new and experienced agents. She also sponsors many charitable events on Long Island and throughout the Boroughs of New York City, including Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, National New York Kidney foundation, the American Heart Association, and the North Shore Animal League. Sicurelli has been a member of the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) since 1994.
Today, she is a resident of Huntington and East Hampton. Sicurelli graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is fluent in Italian. She raised two children: Stefania and Robert-James.
