If your little one has been chattering for months about donning their Halloween costume, here are several Hamptons parades where they can show it off.
The Hampton Library’s (2478 Main Street, Bridgehampton, hamptonlibrary.org) Annual Halloween Parade and Story will take place on Saturday, October 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. A spooktacular tale will set the mood before participants head to the Village in search of seasonal sweets.
Greenport’s March of the Goblins & Hounds (www.greenportvillage.com) will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 10 a.m. The parade route will take attendees from Floyd Memorial Library to Mitchell Park, where a costume contest and family fun, with activities for kids and pets, will continue the autumn excitement.

Little Lucy’s Canine Couture Boutique (www.facebook.com) will present its 17th annual Halloween Pet Parade, which will start at Agawam Park in Southampton, on Saturday, October 28 at 1 p.m. Patricia Hurley, owner of Little Lucy’s Canine Couture Boutique, founded the event to raise both public awareness and funds to benefit rescue organizations that aid neglected and abused dogs. 100 percent of proceeds from this year’s event will support “Wagging Tails” – an organization that saves dogs from the Asian dog meat farms and slaughterhouses. Mayor Michael Irving, Bonnie Grice of WPPB/88.3, and renowned artist Paton Miller will serve as Celebrity Judges and “The Gents” Latin/Jazz Fushion Trio will provide this year’s entertainment. In addition to treats for people and their four-legged friends and live music, there will be a costume contest, raffle prizes, and more Fido approved fun.
The annual Sag Harbor Ragamuffin Parade (sagharborchamber.com) will make its way down Main Street to the Custom House Lawn on Sunday, October 29. The parade will step off from Nassau Street (between Muse and the Laundromat) at 1 p.m. Once the spooky stroll is done, all are invited to stick around for family fun, games and homemade baked goods at the LVIS Bake Sale. This is a pet friendly affair. The annual Sag Harbor Pumpkin Trail will take place on Tuesday, October 31 from 3 to 5 p.m. Participants should search for pumpkin faces in the windows of the participating businesses on Main Street and throughout Sag Harbor Village business district.
Southampton Chamber of Commerce’s 27th Annual Rag A Muffin Parade & Pumpkin Trail (southamptonchamber.com) will be held on Sunday, October 29th at 1 p.m. The parade will begin at Agawam Park, head to Windmill Lane onto Nugent Street, to Main Street, down Jobs Lane and back to Agawam Park, where enchanted activities will ensue.
Hampton Bays Public Library (52 Ponquogue Avenue, Hampton Bays, hamptonbayslibrary.org) will host its seasonal festivities on the eve of Halloween. On Monday, October 30, from 4 to 5 p.m., little ones can trick-or-treat throughout the library.
Quogue Library (90 Quogue Street, Quogue, www.quoguelibrary.org) is hosting a Halloween Day Parade, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., that will commence with a spooky story and then attendees can parade around the library to gather treats.
