Inaugural Wine And Beer Festival Celebrating Montauk To Be Held In August

On Saturday, August 26, over 100 styles of beer and wine will be showcased at The Montauk Yacht Club during Cheers Montauk, a wine and beer festival that highlights both local and nationwide brews and vino. “Combining the atmosphere of majestic Montauk with the best elements of a Craft Wine and Beer Festival,” attendees will be treated to unlimited samples, live entertainment, food and interactive games.

“Cheers Montauk is the end of summer celebration you’ve been waiting for…this one day only festival has amazing beers and wines that will satisfy everyone’s taste,” shared Rachael Berman of Cheers Montauk.

Featured breweries and vineyards will include Montauk Brewing, Southampton Publick House, BrewSA, Guinness, Narragansett, Great South Bay, Long Trail, Austin East Ciders, Neshaminy Creek, Oskar Blues, St Killian, Downeast, Owls Brew, Fire Island Brewing Co, Maeloc Cider, Coney Island, Two Roads, Founders, Hofbrau, Atsby Vermouth, Wolffer Vineyards, Pazdar Winery, Don Tony Perez Wines, Pumphouse Wines, Patricius Tokaj, and Vivanco, while spirits will include Aperol, Appleton Rum, Town Branch Bourbon, Heeet Cinnamon Vodka, and many more.

Attendees can pair the varied sips with bites from Bex Waffles, Knot of This World Pretzels, The Walrus and The Carpenter Traveling Oyster Company, Luke’s Empanada, Mozzarepas Artisanal Arepas, and more.

Cheers Montauk will feature two tasting options, with Session 1 taking place from 1 to 4:30 p.m. and Session 2 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

“Get your tickets while they last!” added Berman.

Attendees must be 21-years-old or older to attend. Admission is $65 in advance and $70 at the door. Tickets include unlimited tastings and a souvenir tasting glass. Additionally, a $15 Designated Driver ticket, which means you can enjoy all the activities of the expo except the wine, beer, and spirits, will be available.
