Every two minutes a woman in the U.S. is diagnosed with breast cancer, according to BCRF, and almost 1.7 million new cases were diagnosed worldwide in 2012. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is dedicated “to preventing and curing breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research.” Last year’s sold out event – which brought out Gwyneth Paltrow, Molly Sims, Rachel Zoe, Monique Lhullier, Nicole Miller, Katie Lee, Brendan Fallis, Jason Sehorn, and Alex Guarnaschelli – raised a record-breaking $1.9 million, and since Paddle & Party for Pink‘s launch, the event has raised nearly $7 million for BCRF.
“The purpose is profound, but it’s also the most fun day of the Hamptons season!” Baum added.
The Paddle for Pink registration fee is $175 and general admission Party for Pink tickets are $1,500.
