Amber Waves, a beloved farm nestled in the heart of Amagansett, hosted its renowned Hoedown Fundraiser this past summer. Known for its vibrant market stocked with locally grown produce, flowers, and grains, the farm is a central fixture of the Hamptons community.
Guests indulged in farm-to-table dishes made from freshly harvested ingredients, grown just steps away. The golden hour cast a magical glow over the farmland, making the entire scene feel ethereal.

Upon arrival, attendees were welcomed with a refreshing summer gin cocktails crafted with Sagaponack Farm Distillery spirits. For those embracing the mocktail trend, a citrus-infused savory mocktail and a zesty shot of gazpacho provided delicious alternatives. Standout dishes included perfectly crisp oven-baked pizzas, blistered shishito peppers, and mouthwatering chicken sandwiches. Wine and beer stations were thoughtfully placed throughout the farm, allowing guests to sip and explore at their leisure.

Amber Waves is more than just a farm; it’s a cornerstone of the Hamptons community. With over 500 varieties of 60 crops, the farm supports local food pantries and supplies produce to select restaurants, reinforcing its commitment to local sustainability. Beyond the market’s shelves filled with artisanal foods and fresh produce, the farm’s kitchen has become a hotspot for espresso, fresh juices, pastries, and seasonal in-house specialties.

In classic Hoedown style, guests took to the dance floor for lively line dancing, energized by the upbeat rhythms of a live band. Many perused the auction, bidding on unique items, including a hand-painted surfboard being created live during the event.

If you missed the Hoedown, don’t worry! Amber Waves’ Oktoberfest Fundraiser is set for October 19th from 2 pm to 5 pm. Expect another fantastic afternoon with beer, food, games, and music!
