Whether you’re a fan of the classic New England clam chowder, the tomato-based Manhattan clam chowder, or a more adventurous take like crab & corn or fish chowder, there’s something on the menu for every palate.

The Chowdah Chowdown is more than just an opportunity to eat great food – it’s a chance to support a local cause that’s close to our hearts. All proceeds from the event benefit the Springs Food Pantry, which has been serving the community for over 30 years.

Founded in 1992 by a group of volunteers from the Springs Presbyterian Church, the Pantry provides supplemental food to families in need throughout the Springs area. Today, it operates as an independent, nondenominational 501(c)(3) organization. Through donations and the hard work of dedicated volunteers, the Springs Food Pantry offers short-term support to families facing difficult times, ensuring they have access to nutritious food when they need it most.

As we come together to enjoy a feast of chowders, we also come together to help our neighbors. Hunger is a very real issue, even in communities as affluent as the East End. By attending the Chowdah Chowdown, you’re not just enjoying delicious food – you’re helping to make sure that no one in our community goes without.
