What’s New At Gurney’s Montauk This Summer

2017 will be the Summer of Wellth at Gurney’s Montauk, who is furthering their dedication to wellness by expanding their collaboration with the Wellth Collective, an experiential design firm that seamlessly blends wellness and travel. Each weekend, Gurney’s will host the hottest trainers, who will lead some of the most in demand classes. You can expect workouts like Y7, Bari Studio, City Row, and Exhale and trainers like Alex Kate Knight, Holly Rillinger and more.

“This year we’ve increased wellness offerings, continued the stylish Fashion Collective, and added lifestyle activations to enhance our guests’ overall experience,” said General Manager Michael Nenner.

The Fashion Collective, a curated collection of fashion and lifestyle brands, will return to Gurney’s Montauk for a second season. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, guests can expect pop-ups with Joie, showcasing a contemporary and sophisticated aesthetic; luxury accessories brand GG Maull; and activewear line Sweaty Betty. Gurney’s has also partnered with resort-wear brand 6 Shore Road for a summer residency.

Celebrity hair stylist Ric Pipino is also back at Gurney’s this summer. The new Ric Pipino Hairspace at Gurney’s Spa will offer a deep conditioning hair treatment, and salongoers have the option to add a playful braid while the treatment is in to really embrace that beachy look.

If you’ve had a little too much fun in the sun, you can try the new After Sun Ritual spa treatment, which begins with a gentle aloe gel, followed by a moisturizing face mask and relaxing lavender oil scalp massage. Next a healing and nourishing coconut emulsion is applied, and the treatment culminates with a cucumber, mint and lemon water infused refreshment.

Gurney’s has expanded its Kid’s Club, which is now 2,000 sq. ft. The popular children’s hangout will be open until 10 p.m. on summer weekends, providing a plethora of entertaining activities like kid’s mediation, cooking classes and arcade games.

“We look forward to our 91st Montauk season and the debut of our newest Newport, Rhode Island location,” added Nenner.
