Eleven Madison Park Opening Hamptons Summer Pop-Up

This summer, Eleven Madison Park’s New York City location will close its doors for renovations, however, renowned chef Daniel Humm and restauranteur Will Guidara will not leave their loyal customers in the lurch. The Manhattan hotspot, which serves a seasonal tasting menu that centers on local ingredients, will hit the road and bring their upscale American dining to the Hamptons with EMP Summer House, in partnership with American Express.

The highly acclaimed eatery – that has earned three stars from Michelin, and four from The New York Times – will begin renovations on their kitchen and dining room on June 9, and is expected to make its East End debut in late-June.

“It’s time for a change,” Humm told The New York Times. “We’ve been at the restaurant for 11 years, and it’s been open for 20 years. We’re still using Danny Meyer’s brasserie.”

EMP Summer House will be located at 341 Pantigo Road in East Hampton, taking over Moby’s. The summer pop-up will have more of a casual vibe, offering both indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as seafood-centric fare.

Hamptons diners are certainly in for a treat as Eleven Madison Park has topped Business Insider’s list of the best restaurants in America for the past two years.

“The restaurant tries as hard as any I know to bring delight to the table with every course,” Pete Wells said in his 2015 New York Times review of the restaurant. “It succeeds so often that only the most determinedly grumpy souls could resist.”

If you’re a Eleven Madison Park fan, have an American Express Card, and plan on spending time in East Hampton this summer, you’re in luck because card members will have exclusive access to EMP Summer House. Patrons will only be able to make a reservation with an American Express Card, and Amex will be the sole form of credit card payment accepted.
