Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor is holding an all new All Star Comedy Show on Saturday, February 25th at 8 p.m. Get ready for a night of laughs with Richie Redding, Dave Sirus, and Marie Faustin. Joseph Vecsey, who stars in Optimum Cable TV’s Unmovers, hosts The Call Back Podcast and has toured with Adam Sandler, David Spade, Norm MacDonald, Nick Swardson and Rob Schneider, will once again serve as the evening’s host.
“The All Star comedy show has been going on for almost seven years,” noted Vecsey. “It’s awesome to see the loyal following it has developed.”
Redding is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and never expected to end up as a comedian. He left the corporate world far behind and chased after a new, exciting, and edgy way of life. In 2012, Redding performed on Walter Latham’s Comedy After Dark and regularly appeared on HOT 97FM. In 2013, he won the Bermuda International Comedy Competition and had his TV debut on AXS TV’s Gotham Live! 2014 proved to be a big year for Redding as he was handpicked by Katt Williams to be the official host of the Growth Spurt Tour and for the HBO special Priceless. After his great success, Williams asked him to be the featured act for the Born Again, Again Tour. Redding is constantly performing at the Barclay’s Center and Madison Square Garden, maintaining a presence in the New York area.
Sirus is a writer and stand-up comedian that frequents the New York and Los Angeles scenes. He was impressively hired in September of 2015 for the 41st season of Saturday Night Live, which he was later nominated for an Emmy award for a Variety Series. Today, Sirus writes for Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog’s Summer Election Special, and Election Watch series on Hulu.
Faustin has appeared on Oxygen and MTV. Her Youtube vlog has over half a million views and the comedian’s monthly show, The Warm Up, at Karma Lounge tackles commitment issues and has been called “the perfect mix of Chelsea Handler and Kevin Hart.”
“People are appreciating the quality comics we are bringing out,” Vecsey added. “It’s the most consistent stand up comedy show you are going to see out in Long Island every month with a brand new line up.”
Tickets are $30.
