Last week’s launch of Adriana Castro’s latest Hamptons pop-up, Isola Mía, was everything one dreams of in a Hamptons evening—effortlessly elegant, deeply personal, and completely on-brand for the designer known for weaving meaning into every detail. The evening began at the Capri Hotel in Southampton, moved seamlessly to Calissa for cocktails and dinner, and closed with dancing under the stars in a private VIP setting.
Open from June 20 to September 1, Isola Mía is Adriana’s summer sanctuary—a relaxed-meets-refined space where guests can explore her handbags, accessories, and homeware, collaborate on custom pieces, and discover a curated edit of brands she’d take to her dream island.
Golden hour light, a custom Moke, and a radiant guest list set the tone. Adriana and Kimberly, the epitome of gracious hosting, floated from guest to guest while connecting, laughing, and making every attendee feel part of their story. It all looked effortless, but as anyone in fashion knows, nothing this chic happens by chance.
Among the crowd were artists, founders, muses, and tastemakers—including Elizabeth Sulcer, Michelle Boor, Selena Gindi, Danielle Licata, Julia Levi, Kylie Monagan, Lisa Marie Benson, and Erika Katz—whose presence added a magnetic style energy to the affair. Watching them interact with Adriana and Kimberly’s collections, delight in the textures, and pose with their favorites was a testament to the power and allure of her pieces.
From Capri, guests snapped photos with Calissa’s signature Moke before transitioning to a dinner that felt straight out of Mykonos. The table, styled by Blaise Behar and set with pieces from Adriana Castro’s own tabletop collection, was a vision—an extension of Adriana’s artistry and attention to detail. Calissa, like Adriana, is rooted in authenticity—and it showed. The meal was one of the best I’ve had this season, and I’m still dreaming of the Greek Salad (arguably the best in the Hamptons).
Before dinner, Adriana and featured designer Kimberly Taylor welcomed guests with heartfelt words of gratitude and inspiration. Kimberly introduced her capsule collection The Great Escape—a summer-ready ode to femininity, ease, and elegance. The sincerity and warmth of both designers made the moment truly special.
The evening wrapped with Calissa co-owner James Mallios stepping behind the DJ booth, transforming the terrace into a spirited VIP dancefloor.
Keep posted, this was only the beginning. More island moments and visiting talents are set to arrive at Isola Mía, Adriana Castro’s pop-up in the Hamptons.
