Get A Jumpstart On Holiday Gift Shopping At These East End Holiday Markets

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s time to start thinking about the season of giving.

The Bridgehampton Museum (2539-A Montauk Hwy., Bridgehampton, www.bhmuseum.org) will host its Members’ Holiday Party & Preview Sale on Friday, December 2nd, from 5 to 7 p.m. On Saturday, December 3rd, the Art & Gift Shop Sale will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featured items will include Bernard Springsteel’s original framed Water Colors, Claus Hoie’s posters from his Greengrocer series, postcards, mugs, books and more, handmade items from members of the Clay Arts Guild of the Hamptons, Bridgehampton’s Summer Colony by Julie Greene, and vintage posters from the Bridgehampton Racing Circuit. The Museum will also welcome the Clay Arts Guild on Saturday, December 3rd, Sunday, December 4th, Saturday, December 10th, Sunday, December 11th, Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, December 18th.

The Remsenburg Garden Club will host its annual Holiday Fair at Remsenburg Academy (130 South Country Road, Remsenburg) on Saturday, December 3rd from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Shoppers will find handmade Christmas wreaths, gift items, poinsettias and baked goods.

St. Mary’s (165 Ponquogue Avenue, Hampton Bays, www.stmaryshb.org) will host a Home & Hearth Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 3rd from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Along with the Famous Cookie Walk and exciting raffle baskets, the Fair will include handcrafted Christmas decorations and gifts, jewelry, scarves, specialty gift items, ornaments, glassware children’s gifts and toys, homemade baked goods, jams, jellies, soups, holiday greens and wreaths.

The Bridgehampton Association Holiday Fair will take place at St. Ann’s Parish House (2463 Main Street, Bridgehampton, www.facebook.com) on Saturday, December 3rd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees will score great deals on jewelry and accessories, homemade crafts and knitted goods, wreaths and other seasonal greens, gourmet food, recycled treasures, and terrific raffle prizes.

The First Presbyterian Church (2 South Main Street, Southampton) will host a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, December 3rd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Doll + Bear Breakfast will take place at 10 a.m. in the dining room. For more information, contact Pam Jackson at 631-384-1277.

The Madoo Holiday Market at The Madoo Conservancy (618 Sagg Main Street, Sagaponack, www.madoo.org) will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shoppers will find a variety of homemade gifts, gardening books and more for the garden lover. Additionally, the Bridgehampton High School Band will be performing holiday music, and you can warm up with a cup of hot cider and vin chaud or by cozying up to the bonfire.

A Community Craft & Vendor Fair will take place at Good Ground Yoga (107-5 Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, goodgroundyoga.com) on Saturday, December 3rd from 1 to 4 p.m. The Fair will highlight a plethora of local artisans, craft people and vendors.
