The Machine To Play The Music Of Pink Floyd During Homecoming Concert

New York’s very own The Machine is taking the stage at NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Saturday, November 12th at 8 p.m.

Together for 28 years, the band has wowed spectators with their uncanny musical resemblance to Pink Floyd. “After almost 30 years of touring, and with each successive year, it becomes more and more special to play in New York – our home state,” said Joe Pascarell, lead guitarist and lead vocalist. “I love the way it feels to be ‘home.'”

The Machine features Tahrah Cohen on drums, Ryan Ball on bass guitar and vocals, Scott Chasolen on keyboards and vocals, and Pascarel on lead guitar and lead vocals.

“We always feel more connected to when we started the band almost 30 years ago. I grew up listening to Pink Floyd,” he noted. “I learned the guitar by figuring out how to play Pink Floyd songs. I love the music as much today as when we started the band.”

They have created a legacy that has reached everywhere from the deepest parts of our country to impressive international locations. The quartet has made appearances at music festivals and theaters, as well as performed, in some instances, alongside esteemed orchestras.

The Machine is known to chillingly resemble the sound of the legendary band – Rolling Stone Magazine once said, “The Machine duplicates the sound and hits of Pink Floyd with chilling accuracy.” The NYCB Theatre at Westbury performance will feature a carefully selected mix of Pink Floyd’s songs, varying from any of band’s stellar 15-album repertoire.
