Book Launch and Signing for “Persian Feasts: Recipes & Stories from a Family Table” in Southampton

Last month, Southampton Arts Center hosted a book launch and signing of Persian Feasts: Recipes and Stories from a Family Table.

The book is a collection of regional delicacies by Leila Heller and co-authors Lila Charif, Laya Khadjavi, and Bahar Tavakolian in honor of Heller’s late mother, Nahid Bayat Makou Taghinia-Milani (Nahid Joon). With 100 authentic dishes and specially commissioned food photography, this volume beautifully blends intimate stories of family and tradition, lively cuisine, and the region’s rich culinary history.
