Year after year, East End supporters come out to celebrate the Shelter during the post-holiday weekend benefit. “It has been a very successful fundraiser in the past because of our community and its members,” she noted. “It is amazing to see how our community comes together and supports this fundraiser and our shelter. We are really looking forward to Boardy Barn 2016!”
The fundraiser would not be possible without the generous assistance of SASF’s dedicated volunteers. “This benefit is organized, planned and run by a group of our shelter’s loving, loyal and hardworking volunteers,” explained McEntee. “We would like to thank everyone who puts so much time and effort into helping our shelter with this event. Big thank-you to our event chairwoman and SASF volunteer, Susie Kinscherf.”
