There are places you visit… and then there are places that become part of your story. For me, that place has always been Montauk.
I grew up spending long days at the beach, feet buried in warm sand, cooling off under the waves, losing track of time in the best possible way. Summer wasn’t planned; it just happened naturally. The ocean set the pace, and every day felt a little freer than the last.
There’s something about that first light in Montauk, quiet streets, salt in the air, the sky turning gold, that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a secret.

Some of the best days start with a quick stop at Montauk Market, grabbing ice, sandwiches, and drinks, before taking the boat out for the day. No strict plans, just sun, water, and the feeling that there is nowhere else you need to be.
The beaches feel endless. The cliffs remind you you’re standing at the edge of The End or The Beginning (depending on who you ask!). Trails wind through coastal landscapes that still feel wild and untouched. Shadmoor State Park is my favorite. Even now, with everything Montauk has become, you can still feel the heartbeat of the small fishing town it once was and, in many ways, still is.
Montauk Downs State Park Golf Course is one of the area’s true gems, a highly rated, challenging public course known for strong winds, scenic views, and a layout that keeps even seasoned players humble.
And then there’s the food, because in Montauk, meals aren’t rushed; they become part of the experience. Maybe it’s oceanfront dining at Gurney’s or Duryea’s, sunset cocktails at The Montauket, or a night that somehow stretches late at Mavericks Montauk. Other evenings call for relaxed, family-style dinners at Harvest on Fort Pond, where conversation lingers long after the plates are cleared.

Sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones, margaritas and tacos at El Taco Ole, top-notch sushi from Seaside Sushi, or ice cream at John’s Drive-In. If the night still feels young, a little friendly competition at Puff & Putt Mini Golf always seems to end with laughs and a rematch promise.
You come for the beaches, the boating, the fishing, the sunsets that stop you mid-sentence. But you stay for something harder to explain, the way Montauk makes life feel lighter. And for many people, buying here becomes more than just real estate. It’s about building something lasting, a place your family returns to year after year, where memories stack up like summers themselves.
With Hamptons home prices now hovering around the $2.3 million median range, owning in this part of the East End has become as much about legacy as it is lifestyle. Buying in Montauk means planting roots in a place that holds value far beyond numbers- emotionally, culturally, and financially.
You can’t buy happiness… but you can buy a house in Montauk. And honestly, that’s pretty close!

Which is why I’m so excited to introduce 64 Fairview Avenue, a great property with incredible potential, the perfect opportunity to renovate, make it your own, and start experiencing a Montauk summer from the inside out.
Perfectly located just a short drive to town and world-class beaches, with Montauk Downs State Park Golf Course practically in your backyard, the location truly cannot be beat. It’s the kind of setting that makes spontaneous beach days, sunset dinners, and early-morning tee times feel effortless.
64 Fairview Avenue isn’t just a home, it’s a chance to create your own Montauk oasis. A place where long summer days turn into lifelong memories, where the ocean breeze becomes part of your everyday life, and where each season feels a little brighter because you’re here.
Because once you’ve spent a summer in Montauk, you’ll understand: Nothing beats a Montauk summer.
