On Sunday, May 15th, members of Douglas Elliman and the East End-based Douglas Elliman Hamptons Housewives Team participated in the Northwell Health Walk at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York.
Prior to the event, Barbara Mattson, Douglas Elliman East Hampton assistant office manager, raised $3,750 for the cause, amounting to the second largest individual donation. The Bridgehampton-based Hamptons Housewives Team, which included Hamptons Marketing Operations Manager Melody Newberry, Marketing team members Sandhia Ramkhelawan and May Gilley, as well as Associate Broker Ann Marie Pallister, also collected an impressive donation. The group raised $5,095, earning them a spot in the Top 10 fundraisers.
“We’ve been doing this since the very beginning, for the past 7 years,” explained Douglas Elliman President and CEO Dottie Herman. “Our message is ‘Walk for the Women You Love.'”
Altogether, Douglas Elliman supporters raised nearly $8,000, proceeds that will benefit the Katz Institute for Women’s Health and the Cohen Children’s Medical Center. Herman and agents, brokers and employees from Douglas Elliman’s ten East End offices, including East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Southampton, Montauk, Westhampton Beach, Sag Harbor, Hampton Bays, Quogue, Mattituck and Greenport, as well as corporate headquarters all helped contribute to the cause.
