Quiz Show “Fun”raiser Benefits East End Youth

On Saturday, March 19th at 7 p.m., the Sag Harbor Booster Foundation is hosting its 5th Annual Quiz Show “Fun”raiser at Muse in the Harbor. Grab a group of friends with varying strong-suits and come prepared to test your knowledge of a plethora of subjects, while supporting Sag Harbor students.

“The Quiz Show was a Team Trivia event, where teams of up general 6 to 8 can collaborate and answer trivia questions,” explained Pia Olesen-Ferraris, Quiz Show Event Chair. “Our Quiz Show events consist of 5 rounds, 4 – rounds of 10 questions, of varying themes and 1 round of 20 questions require identifying pictures.” After each round ends, the scores are tallied and at the culmination of the game, the team with the most points will win the grand prize, $500. The evening will also include raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

“The Booster Foundation is a local 501 (C) 3 charitable organization working to provide funding and support to our children within the Sag Harbor Community in their endeavors in sports, arts, and intellectual pursuits,” added Olesen-Ferraris. Recent projects have included assisting the 2015 Robotics Club with funding to attend the National Competition, awarding scholarships to two graduating students (yearly), awarding a grant to the Theater Department for a new drum set, and funding a practice field for the field hockey team to use while at State Competition.

Advanced registration is required and admission is $40 per person.
