New York Mets fans the time is finally here. We’re ready to celebrate like it’s 1986, so if you weren’t lucky enough to score Citi Field World Series tickets, here are seven cocktails to sip on as you watch the Mets take on the Kansas City Royals (and hopefully come away with another Commissioner’s Trophy). And like captain David Wright says, “You gotta believe.”
1. Mets Bleeding Orange:
Directions: Muddle 3 Raspberries at the bottom of the glass. Shake ingredients together and pour over ice.
2. Mets Mitt Warmer:
Directions: Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake, and strain over ice into rocks glass. Garnish with grated cinnamon and orange slice.

(For Chai infused sherry: Empty 1 bottle of sherry into a large bowl. Throw in 6 chai tea bags and squeeze to release oils. Steep for 3 hours. Give tea bags one last squeeze before discarding from the infused sherry.) (For Cinnamon syrup: Place equal parts sugar and water, plus crushed up cinnamon sticks (2 to 3 sticks per cup of sugar), into a pot and bring to a light boil. Reduce to a simmer and let sit for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool completely and strain.)
3. The Wright Choice: (Created by Rob Bennett of Blu Wolf Bistro in Rochester)
Directions: Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake. Strain into a rocks glass, garnish.
