“This is a family event where dogs and their owners can see old friends and make new ones,” shared Tom Edmonds, Executive Director of Southampton Historical Museums and Research Center.
On Thursday, August 27th from 4 to 6 p.m., the Southampton Historical Museum is hosting Yappy Hour, a pet friendly Hamptons party. Join North Shore Animal League America’s National Spokesperson and volunteer Beth Stern at the Rogers Mansion for barkaritas, yappetizers, raffles, music, and a beach themed dog costume contest, judged by Stern. Attendees should BYOD (bring your own dog) or change an adorable animal’s life forever by adopting them during the event. Guests will receive $25 off adoption fees and a free membership to the Museum. Galagoers will have the chance to win awards for the best doggy costume, best mannered dog, best dog skill, and other party tricks.

Admission is $25 in advanced for adults, $10 for dogs, free for children, and $35 for adults on the day of. All proceeds from the event benefit Southampton Historical Museum and the North Shore Animal League.
