Hamptons Pop-Up Art Exhibit Features Resolve Of 50 Artists

“Resolve.,” a pop-up curated exhibition featuring contemporary artists’ viewpoint of resolve is coming to Ashawagh Hall on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit will showcase contemporary paintings, sculptures, photography and mixed media.

“Resolve, derived from the earlier Latin, re- + solvere (solve); a strong determination to do something,” explained artist Ellen Dooley. “A search for an answer. The finding of a solution. To be settled in opinion. To be convinced. That’s me; that’s us. And that’s what I hope this show expresses.”

Featured artists include Mary Antzak, Abby Abrams, Nancy Benzenberg Kiembock, Rosalind Brenner, Michael Cardacino, Carolyn Conrad, Marilyn DiCarlo-Ames, Art Donovan, Ellen Dooley, Don Duga, Ellen Frank, Barbara Groot, Stan Gilula, Mary Stern Grossman, Tracy Harris, Steve Haweeli, Scott Hewett, Bill Kiriazis, Mary Laspia, Cyndi Loewen, Joel Lefkowitz, Setha Low, Jennifer Meihofer, Veronica Mezzina, Mary Milne, Savio Mizzi, Joanlee Montefusco, Jonathan Morse, Jeanelle Myers, Zoe Pennebaker Breen, Joyce Raimondo, Doug Reina, Gabriele Raacke, Stephanie Reit, Bob Rothstein, Catherine B. An Artist’s Reception, open to the public, will take place on Saturday, June 20th, from 5 to 8 p.m.
