Once again, it looks like Montauk will be a Hamptons hotspot this summer. To kickoff the start of the official Hamptons season, here’s what going on in “The End” over Memorial Day weekend.
Join The Montauk Beach House (55 South Elmwood Avenue, Montauk, 631-668-2112, thembh.com) welcome committee for happy hour on Friday, May 22nd, from 5 to 7 p.m. On Saturday, May 23rd, Poolside Collective is hosting a kickoff event celebrating the opening of their retail concept shop all day at the pool. Oli Benz is spinning on the deck from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by Spiky Phil from 4 to 6 p.m. On Sunday, May 24th, Dope Illustrator Moo Mooi will be poolside to sketch up portraits of attendees and Spiky Phil is back on the deck from 3 to 6 p.m.

Montauk Yacht Club (32 Star Island Road, Montauk, 631-668-3100, www.montaukyachtclub.com) has teamed up with Daniel Koch and Derek Koch of DMK Entertainment Group. The Koch brothers will bring their electrifying brunches to Montauk every Sunday this summer. The series will debut with a special event on Saturday on the Great Lawn. From 2 p.m. to sunset, Montauk Yacht Club resident DJ Claudius Raphael will spin during the inaugural Koch brothers Yacht Club event. A brunch will also be held on Sunday at the pool/Barracuda Patio from 4 to 11 p.m.
Sunset Sets at Navy Beach (16 Navy Road, Montauk, 631-668-6868, www.navybeach.com) kickoff over Memorial Day weekend. On Sunday, join Twister for reggae music, starting at 5 p.m.

Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa (290 Old Montauk Highway, Montauk, 631-668-2345, www.gurneysmontauk.com) is celebrating the holiday weekend with Mike Nouveau at The Fire Pit and Dexter Love at The Regent Cocktail Club on Friday night, starting at 9 p.m. On Saturday at 9 p.m., join Franco V at The Fire Pit and Vikas at The Regent Cocktail Club. The weekend will wrap up on Sunday at 9 p.m., with Vikas at The Fire Pit and Doug Grayson at The Regent Cocktail Club.
The Summer Music Series at The Surf Lodge (183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, 631-483-5037, thesurflodge.com) kicks off on Friday with Mac DeMarco at 7 p.m. Saturday will feature Escort at 7 p.m., while Capital Cities is headlining Sunday, at 7 p.m. The holiday weekend will conclude with a performance from Tove Lo on Monday at 5 p.m. and a BBQ hosted by TIQO Beverage from 4 to 8 p.m. BBQ attendees will enjoy music by DJ Olie Benz and DJ David Katz.

The Sloppy Tuna (148 South Emerson Avenue, Montauk, 631-647-8000, www.thesloppytuna.com) will have music from The Bobby Nathan Band on Monday.
The Backyard Restaurant at Solé East Resort (90 Second House Road, Montauk, 631-668-2105, www.soleeast.com) is celebrating Memorial Day weekend with reggae favorite Winston Irie and the Selective Security Band on Thursday at 9 p.m., and DJ Faze on Friday at 10 p.m. Enjoy a poolside set from DJ Faze on Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m., the Whalebone Magazine Launch Party from 4 to 8 p.m., and DJ Faze again at 10 p.m. Finish the weekend with a Jazz and Bosso Nova Brunch with music by Ludmilla and Marcello on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., poolside beats by DJ VH1 from 2 to 6 p.m. and DJ VH1 is back at 10 p.m.
