The last things on many Christmas shopping lists are the infamous ‘stocking stuffers’ that nearly miss the cut every year. But not this year, we found gifts, courtesy of our friends in the beauty biz, of beauty for guys and dolls that are the perfect little somethings for stylish Christmas stocking and sets for under the tree.

Nail polish is a go-to stocking stuffer. Always the right size and with so many options you can gift a few with endless possibilities. We found two sparkly sets form NCLA perfect for Christmas. One in blue-green (Gotta Go Boho) and one in red (Hollywood Heartbreaker) each with a shimmery base layer and a glittering top coat. Slick on the base color for day and then add the glitter coat for a night out with friends. ($26 each, www.shopncla.com)
Spicy and sexy describe Viktor & Rolf’s Spicebomb eau de toilette for him. The scent is a virile blend of leather, chili, saffron, vetiver, and a fresh burst of grapefruit to bring it all together in a unique grenade-shaped atomizer. A compact filled with fresh colors like Clinique’s The Nutcracker Act II makes our list this year. Inspired by the American Ballet Theater, the Pretty Pink Tutu blush and Sugar Plum Suite eye shadow quad are delightful in any season. The mirrored compact is perfect for travel or in a purse. Drakkar Essence from Guy Laroche Paris is a new take on the classic 1980’s Drakkar Noir. The scent is for the sporty man who likes his cologne clean and fresh with invigorating notes of fresh mint and grapefruit as well as fresh woods and sage. ($68, Lord & Taylor)
Leave it to the always-chic Michael Kors to deliver two stylish gift sets for fashion forward trendsetters this season. Pick a trio of nail polishes with Michael Kors Holiday Nail Lacquer Set (in Java, Bossa Nova, and Ocean) or Michale Kors Holiday Lip Luster set of glosses (in Bubbly, Firecracker, and Showstopper) and get ready for some applause. Designer Kenneth Cole has been known to raise a few eyebrows with his creative, yet at times controversial, comments on social media.
