New York’s former Mayors, players on the world stage and Hamptons home owners Michael Bloomberg and Rudy Giuliani are fixtures, with their “better halves,” Diana Taylor and Judy Giuliani respectively, at the Hampton Classic Horse Show VIP luncheon.

This year, they reminded us of that catch-all headline: “Celebrities: They’re Just Like Us.”
Watching Georgina Bloomberg compete, a low key Diana Taylor lovingly coddled Bloomberg grandson, Jasper. “Who knew!” this fashionable businesswoman and philanthropist would be such a happy grandma.
As for Rudy and Judy, they’re still enjoying not only the Classic, but classic Hamptons pleasures. They’re also still finishing each others sentences.
“The highlight of the summer was playing golf with my wife,” remarked Rudy, who has spent all but a weekend or two out here. “We play all over. We love just being out here. It’s so relaxing and beautiful. We’ve had a wonderful summer…grilling,…going to movies, playing golf, seeing our friends…”
“And looking forward to the Hamptons International Film Festival,” added Judy.
“Looking forward very much,” Rudy agreed. “Judith’s on the Board of the Film Festival.”
“It’s on Columbus Day Weekend,” Judy continued. “It’s a big success every year. We’ve got lots and lots more Indie movies, fabulous Hollywood movies…”
“Through the years lots of them have won Academy Awards,” Rudy added.
“Actually we’ve opened and closed with several academy award films,” Judy wants us to know.
“Come,” beamed Rudy, “and we’ll do an interview there!”
