The Southampton Chamber of Commerce is holding the 5th Annual drive-in movie night series at Cooper’s Beach in Southampton featuring movies for all ages. The screenings will begin on Monday, August 4, 2014, with “The Lego Movie.” The series will include “The Wizard of Oz” on Monday, August 11, “American Graffiti” on Tuesday, August 19, and “Frozen” on Monday, August 25.
Gates to the beach will open at 7 p.m. with the movies scheduled to begin once it gets dark. Tickets are $40 per carload or $10 per person and beach car passes are not needed to enter this event. Attendees can also pay $150 ahead of time to attend all four movies with a carload. All vehicles must have an FM radio in order to hear audio transmission of the film. Tickets can be purchased at the gate on the day of the movie on a first come, first serve basis or in advance through the Southampton Chamber of Commerce (76 Main Street, Southampton).
Dinner, snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase at Cooper’s Beach Café.
