Friends of Peconic Bay hosted the “Pirates, Mermaids and Sailors Gala” held at a waterfront estate in Shelter Island on Saturday, June 28, 2014. James Goldman and Debbie Rodriguez co-chaired the benefit, which raised funds for the SPAT Oyster Restoration Project. The Aquatic themed fundraiser included a high-end designer Fashion Show by Cluny’s.
“Many of us spend considerable time in the Hamptons, have summer homes there or boats in the Harbor,” said Debbie Rodriguez, Co-Chairperson, The Friends of Peconic Bay. “We care for the environment greatly, therefore this benefit supported an important Oyster restoration project in the Peconic Bay.”
