Here are seven cocktails to celebrate the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014.
1. The Sparkler: If your New Year’s resolution is to get fit, this festive drink only has 78 calories.
Directions: Muddle Peaches and Plums with Syrup, shake with ice and strain into a champagne flute, top with Gekkeikan Zipang and stir.

2. Herradura Espresso: Not used to staying up so late? Have one of these and you’ll definitely make the Times Square Ball Drop.
Directions: Place all ingredients excluding the heavy cream in to a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice. Shake hard and strain over ice in to a chilled coupe glass. In a separate shaker place the heavy cream and cubed ice, shake hard to aerate then pour carefully over a bar spoon to layer the cream over the coffee. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
3. 525 Fizz: Prosecco is a nice bubbly alternative to champagne.
Directions: Combine, shake and strain vodka & elderflower liqueur into a chilled absinthe washed martini glass. Top with prosecco and garnish with fresh rosemary.

4. Basil Hayden’s Stroke of Midnight: If you have no one to kiss at the stoke of midnight, celebrate with a sip of this.
Directions: Add Basil Hayden’s Bourbon to a champagne flute. Fill the remainder of the glass with sparkling apple juice. Garnish with a sliced apple.
5. Sparkling Cran-Razzy: This mocktail available at Fresh Hamptons (203 Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, 631-537-4700, freshhamptons.com) is ideal for the New Year’s Eve non-drinkers.
Directions: Combine cranberry juice and raspberry puree in a champagne flute. Top with club soda.

6. Bar Drake Manhattan: A classic to end the night or early morning.
Directions: Pour all ingredients over ice into a mixing glass. Stir the drink and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with brandied cherries.
7. French Kiss: The perfect way to end 2013 and cocktail choice to ring in the New Year.
Directions: Combine CAMUS VS Elegance Cognac and raspberry liqueur in a chilled champagne flute. Top with Champagne Laurent-Perrier Brut and garnish with raspberry.
