The Southampton Hospital Summer Party Is On The Move

After 54 years at the Wickapogue Road location, the invite only Southampton Hospital Summer Party is moving to the Art Southampton Pavilion on the Elks Lodge fairgrounds.

The move is beneficial to both the Hospital and gala goers who will enjoy the air conditioned insides of the pavilion instead of braving the hot Hamptons weather and the carpeted floor means ladies can break out their favorite Manolos without worrying about sinking into the grass. The new space allows the Hospital to expand their guest list for the “Magical Madrid” themed gala which will be chaired by Jean Shafiroff, who broke fundraising records during the past two summer galas and Audrey Gruss will serve as the Honorary Chair.

Both organizations are excited to continue their collaboration which began last summer. “We are thrilled that they have again chosen us to be the beneficiary of proceeds from their opening-night VIP Preview. Even more exciting, the Art Southampton Pavilion will serve as the 2013 site for the hospital’s 55th Annual Summer Party, proceeds of which will benefit the Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department and the new Audrey and Martin Gruss Heart and Stroke Center,” said Bob Chaloner, President and CEO, Southampton Hospital.

Founder, Director and Partner, Art Southampton, Nick Korniloff noted, “The ability to donate the infrastructure of the Art Southampton pavilion allows our organization and exhibitors to support the Southampton Hospital in its fundraising initiatives that will ultimately benefit everyone who lives, vacations or visits the Hamptons”

Art Southampton presented by Art Miami, The Premiere International Contemporary and Modern Art Fair will return to the Hamptons July 25 through 29, 2013.
