Remember travel? While we look towards the light at the end of the transatlantic tunnel, let’s take a moment to visualize our happy moments abroad in years gone by.
Mine always came from friends of friends: the biodynamic Chene Bleu private wine tasting at owner Nicole Rolet’s London townhouse, for example. What if we had access to the friends of the Indagare Founder and former Town & Country travel expert? That would be Melissa Biggs Bradley, CEO and founder of Indagare Travel, the members-only, boutique travel-planning company. It was the next step after 12 years as T&C‘s travel editor, and launching Town & Country Travel. Now, she has made these thinkers, tastemakers, entrepreneurs and achievers available to all, online.

They talk intimately and philosophically about travel to Bradley in Indagare Global Conversations. Prince Charles’ Goddaughter India Hicks, Oprah Advisor, Author and Omega Institute Founder Elizabeth Lesser, National Geographic filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert, Love India author Fiona Caulfield, Travel glossy, Cabana Editor Martina Mondadori and travel writer/novelist Paul Theroux were among the initial offerings. “They are people with unique niches who share a thread of passion and purpose,” Kathryn Nathanson, Global Experience Manager at Indagare, explained. “You might not have heard of them before, but you want to know and have them at your dinner table.”

The conversations are the latest addition to a Global Classroom for sidelined Indagare insiders that are open to the public for now. “We created cooking, dance, baking classes and wine tastings,” Nathanson continued, “everything from a virtual tea ceremony in Japan to a flamenco class in Spain to give our members a taste of travel. We tapped into our little black book of partners all over the world: unique hotels and people that our members meet on our Insider Journeys (small group trips in partnership with Condé Nast). We also offer private classes to echo and mirror the experience our clients have on the ground.”
Schedule private virtual cooking and bartending classes from the Eleven Madison Park team. See St Peter’s, Versailles, Gaudi in Barcelona and Krakow’s Old Town with Indagare’s top guides. And do it now: it’s gotten so popular, that open policy may not last! For more info: www.indagare.com.
