150 philanthropic attendees indulged in a spectacular late-winter menu showcasing black truffles during the 18th annual Sunday Supper at Restaurant Daniel. Hosted by Chef Daniel Boulud, “Black Truffles and Blue Jeans” raised $720,000 for Citymeals-on-Wheels, which is the equivalent of 112,150 meals for the organization. To prepare the one-of-a-kind meal, Chef Boulud was accompanied by Chef Jacques Chibois from La Bastide Saint Antoine in Grasse, France, as well as Chef Markus Glocker of Bâtard Restaurant and Chef Gabriel Kreuther, who prepared canapés.
