The inaugural Chita Rivera Awards for Dance and Choreography, recognizing the work of choreographers and dancers on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and on film, was held at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth hosted the soiree, which featured performances from A Bronx Tale, Come From Away, and the revival of Sweet Charity. New York City Ballet’s Antonio “Nino” Vendome, Chairman of The Vendome Group, was honored with Chita Rivera Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts and Humanities.
