Pierson Middle School eighth graders marked the move to high school with a special video prepared for the school’s virtual celebration. The film encompassed photos of the classmates learning and engaging with causes, school trips and having fun with friends captured their joyful journey through middle school.

Eighth grader Chad Federico said it is never too early to prepare for your future, and the high school years are the perfect time to explore talents and interests and set goals. “There are many people you can go to for advice (including family, friends, teachers and mentors), but ultimately, you are in charge of your own decisions”

In a video created for the eighth grade moving up celebration, student Justin Gardner spoke about treasured memories of middle school and summed it up with a quote from Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel, “‘Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory’”
