Armin & Judy, nestled conveniently right off the highway in Bridgehampton, has always been a cherished restaurant in my monthly rotation. However, my recent discovery has elevated this place to a whole new level. One morning, as I drove by, I noticed a car pulling into the restaurant. Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to investigate. To my surprise, tucked away at the back of the establishment was a delightful, rustic bakery, seemingly hidden from plain view. This gem offers an array of freshly baked goods, lattes, teas, and various luxury groceries.
Stepping inside feels like entering a scene from a Disney movie. A friendly French baker welcomes you with a warm smile, making it impossible to resist placing an order. On my visit, I opted for the chocolate croissant, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The pastry was so exceptionally good that I found myself needing to sit down to savor the warm, straight-out-of-the-oven delight.
The entire encounter brought an immediate smile to my face, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. What started as a quest for a quick espresso at the bar turned into an unexpected and delightful surprise. Moreover, this hidden bakery is a convenient stop if you’re headed towards Bridgehampton.
Armin & Judy’s bakery seems to be a well-kept secret, and I doubt many are aware of its existence. The quality of the baked goods at this establishment is truly on another level.
