Just before the official start of the Hamptons season, Hampton Luxury Liner Inc., an affiliate of M&V Limousines Ltd. in Commack, rolled out its new fleet of buses, which will provide daily, round-trip service to and from New York City and the Hamptons.
“I am super excited about this endeavor,” said Hampton Luxury Liner President & CEO Mark J. Vigliante. “We have received nothing but positive feedback and are receiving calls every day asking when we are going to start running a Hamptons line again.”
Launched on Thursday, May 25, the fleet features 10-luxury Mercedes Setra Top Class Coach buses that can comfortably hold up to 50 travelers in each bus. Passengers can expect plush leather reclining seats with extra leg room and foot rests, complimentary snacks and bottled water, a restroom, rear galley, and individual reading lights and decorative lighting. Travelers will never be bored during the ride as WIFI, a movie selection for personal devices, magazine selection, and music selection will also be offered. Worried that your personal devices won’t have enough juice to last the entire ride? Don’t be because the fleet will feature individual power outlets and USB ports.
“Everything has been redone and reinvented,” Vigliante explained. “New buses, new software, new app for the clients, new website, new management, new drivers, new conveniences for our customers, new advertisers on the Liner, and new slogans.”
In the Hamptons, you can be picked up or dropped off in Montauk, Amagansett, East Hampton, Wainscott, Bridgehampton, Water Mill, and Southampton. Manhattan pick up stops include 86th Street, 70th Street, 59th Street, 47th Street, and 40th Street, while drop off stops include 40th Street, 50th Street, 60th Street, 72th Street, 79th Street, and 86th Street. For those heading to Montauk, an express bus will be offered on Fridays and Sundays starting in July. Hampton Luxury Liner is also thinking about introducing a commuter run to New York City in the fall.
Since traffic in the Hamptons and Manhattan and on the LIE can be unpredictable, Hampton Luxury Liner is releasing new software that was exclusively used in Europe and a new user-friendly app. The innovative software allows customers to track where the bus is on the route so you know if your bus is going to be a little late. The app will also offer the ability to purchase a ticket or change a reservation, as well as select your seat and send a ticket to a friend.
The Hampton Luxury Liner has been collaborating with the Town of Southampton to present a trolley service that conveniently transports passengers from the train station to local restaurants and beaches. The trolley service will be available from June to Labor Day.
“It is my goal to create the ultimate transportation experience for our clients at a very fair price,” he added. “We live by our new slogan, ‘More Than Just A Ride. More Luxury. More Value.'”
