She’s turned a lifelong love of beauty into a luxury salon destination in Southampton. For the past 16 years, as the founder of 27 Hampton Salon, Bianka has raised the bar with top-tier talent, year-round services, and a mission to make every client feel like family.

Bianka, tell us a bit about your journey. How did you get started in the beauty industry?

I have loved hair since I was a child. However, my school lead me to a different path. I worked in the World Trade Center as TKTKTK until it collapsed. I began my career then. My love of hair became a full-time career as of October 2001.

What inspired you to open 27 Hampton Salon?

When my husband, James, and I moved to the Hamptons, I wanted to open an incredible, NYC/L.A. style salon that offers all luxury beauty services. We wanted to bring in talent from the top salons in NYC, Miami, L.A.—and to make sure that we’re open year-round! 

Was there a defining moment when you knew this was the path you wanted to take?

That was when I found the space at 27 Hampton Road. It was an ideal location. I knew that all the Southampton residents would be thrilled to have our services here.

What makes 27 Hampton Salon unique compared to other salons in the area?

The majority of our team are published editorial artists. We offer all the best haircare and skincare products on the market, including Milbon, R+Co BLEU, and Oribe. Our skincare department includes ISDIN, ISUN, and world-renowned stem cell lines Caviarlieri and Celergen.

How would you describe the salon’s vibe?

From the second you step into our salon, we have a relaxed, fun-loving vibe and atmosphere. Not only is our team the absolute best at hair, makeup, skin, and airbrush tanning, we also make sure that everyone feels welcomed and loved from the second they step foot into our space until the second they leave. That’s important to me.

What trends in hair or beauty are you loving right now?

I love the beautiful sleek bobs and baby lights for color. So youthful and chic!

What’s next for you and 27 Hampton? Any exciting plans in the works?

I’m looking forward to expanding 27 Hampton Salon to other locations in the Hamptons. Also, we now provide full head-to-toe beautification and fitness goals. 27 Hampton Salon has teamed up with fitness studio Tremble. We love to see our guests work out with us at Tremble at 25 Hills Street in Southampton, then come and get beautified at 27 Hampton Salon!
