Cartier, one of the world’s most esteemed luxury houses, is pleased to announce the opening of a new seasonal boutique in East Hampton, New York. The unique seasonal ‘pop- up’ experience opened to the public on May 27, 2022 and will continue through Fall 2022.
“As summer 2022 officially kicks off, we’re delighted to debut our newest seasonal boutique in East Hampton, New York,” says Mercedes Abramo, President and CEO of Cartier North America. “After hosting several recent, well-received seasonal ‘pop-up’ boutiques in Troy, MI and Palm Beach, FL, we look forward to bringing this unique experience into our own backyard, welcoming guests from our home in New York City and beyond.”
Cartier arrives in The Hamptons this Summer as a joyful destination that harmoniously sits at the center of the cultural playground that surrounds it. Inside the boutique, exquisitely curated selections of creations sit next to timeless treasures like the Panthere C handbag in new navy colorway, available for purchase for the most discerning Hamptons pop-up shopper in advance of its worldwide release later in the season. Personalization services at the boutique offer a multitude of possibilities, while hand-delivery by the Maison’s grooms further exemplify the notion of an endless, care-free Summer.
On display at the store are a series of artworks by celebrated artist, Konstantin Kakanias. Reaffirming its commitment to the arts, Cartier commissioned Kakanias to create illustrations that celebrate Cartier d’Été seasonal boutiques opening this Summer, including the just opened pop-up in the Hamptons, as well as in Mykonos.
About his inspiration for the illustrations and collaboration with Cartier, Kakanias shared, “I imagined fun summer days and nights, with a totally free spirit where we indulge in nature, light, water, love, and beautiful things. I was also inspired by the iconic screwball comedy “Bringing Up Baby“ and unforgettable Mykonian sunsets. Collaborating with Cartier was a real privilege, the Maison has such a rich vocabulary and history, which I loved working with.”
Beyond the boutique, Cartier d’Été will include a program of events, and art installations that aim to further encapsulate the feeling of a summer holiday, moving to the beat of a seaside escape.
The Cartier Hampton pop-up is located at 1 Main Street, East Hampton, New York. The boutique is open every day from 10AM to 6PM except Sundays when its hours are 11AM to 5PM.
