"This diverse array of films, many with local ties, are sure to be some of the most talked about films at this year's Festival," noted David Nugent.
"Every brushstroke, color, element, or scratch as symbols of the marks left behind by life events and the passage of time," DeCanio shared.
"This truly has been a richly, rewarding experience and I couldn't be more excited to share this community-driven work with the public," said Kendra Mace Clark.
"Certain pieces that I've created depend on acrylics for effect and detail, but I try to work within the parameters or 'rules' of a graffiti artist: your work must show your ability to produce strictly from a can of spray paint or marker," said artist Tim Conlon.
"As we view and interact with the works showcased at the show, many will elicit a response from us, at times incomprehensible though at all times personal, intimate and beautiful," Ron Mellott explained.
"This not for profit organization gives both professional and amateur artists, who live throughout the East End and surrounding areas, the opportunity to showcase their work in a gallery setting," noted Don Lamontanoro.
The featured readers are "local notables who celebrate among other things our East End light and landscape," said Dee Slavutin.
"I'd never thought I'd have a venue where I could show all my friends' work," Salvatore Termini shared. "We have a crazy lineup of artists."
"Showing talented artists was only one of our goals when Alex and I decided to collaborate on a summer exhibition," Varvatos explained. "The other was to make sure we were having fun."
"The world knows Scott as an incredible musician, and with this exhibition, Scott has also shown himself to be an exceptional painter and curator," noted David Kratz.
