Underwater Dreams tells the story of a Mexican immigrant who embarks on a robotics competition against a powerhouse M.I.T. competitor.
"This will be a concert for families and kids," shared Nancy Remkus.
"Mingus moved from shabby roadhouses to fabulous estates, from the psychiatric wards of Bellevue to worlds of mysticism and solitude, but for all his travels never straying too far, always returning to music," noted Claes Brondal.
"With the chaos of this year's inauguration, we felt like it would be a good year to have a broad range of interpretation on the theme Love & Passion, and that certainly has shown through," explained Karyn Mannix.
"Rosemary Cline and Andrew Botsford are fantastic in A.R.Gurney's 'Love Letters,'" remarked Tom Edmonds.
"We at the Southampton Cultural Center (SCC) are delighted to be hosting this Lunar New Year celebration as part of our cultural outreach," said Kirsten Lonnie, Executive Director of Southampton Cultural Center.
"Our goal is not just for the kids to understand the story of these plays, but for them to bring the stories alive," shared the mentors.
"Inda Eaton is an amazing artist. She has brought her talent to the children at Project MOST many times in the past few years," said Susan Gentile Hackett, Project Most.
The East End Arts will present a documentary tracing Paul Simon's journey back to South Africa followed by a Q&A by bassist Bakithi Kumalo.
"We're excited that Walter Klauss, acclaimed choral director and organist, will guest conduct this concert," explained David M. Brandenburg.
